Russell Whitlock became a partner at Harris Lipman in April 2009. He joined the firm in 2003 and was previously senior audit manager.

He decided to specialise in accountancy after completing a business and finance qualification and worked for two established accountancy firms in Oxford, where he qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2001.

As well as expertise in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, he is widely experienced in company audit and taxation.

In his role as partner, Russell works closely with senior partner Barry Lewis in advising clients on business development. He has also taken a leading role in the training and mentoring of team members, which he believes is crucial to the success of any forward-thinking accountancy firm.
