Important message from Barry Lewis

We recently received this spoof message from a regular client of ours, which some of you may find amusing.

It is with great pleasure and joy that I can inform you that at long last I have managed to engage Kathleen Chaplin to join our team as next-in-command, as top advisor to Harris Lipman. What a great boost she will bring to us.

Without any doubt, Kathleen is considered to be the UK’s most clever woman. She was the main brain behind Gordon Brown and Tony Blair, and we all know how she helped them from one crisis to yet another. They were lost when she left them to join the Bank of England!

Well, what else can I tell you about her? Winner of Mastermind (this was not planned, she was at the BBC and went in the wrong door for the ladies) – but she won it. Her subject was ‘Different Kinds of Doors’.

Only the other day, she gave our own Mr A Shah advice on tax, PAYE, etc, etc. He was so grateful he had tears in his eyes! He remarked while drying his face, ‘”What a woman”. She made everything so easy, he wondered why he had spent so may years training. But Kathleen has always liked Ashok.

Although Kathleen lives in Norfolk, she will always answer any call – except when she is feeding the ducks and chickens, as their feed makes her phone very messy and she drops the eggs!

Speaking from my heart, I really cannot wait for KC to start working with us – several of you already know, or have spoken to Kathleen over the phone, so you know what you are in for! Her wonderful command of the written word – let’s hope we will all soon be writing ‘like wot she dose’.

I must stop now, as I’m really overcome with emotion, and more joy. What an honour for Harris Lipman.
