Kash Welcomed To Harris Lipman Team

North London chartered accountants and insolvency practitioners Harris Lipman have welcomed another new addition to their team, with the appointment of Kash Kurup as an audit and accounts partner.

Kash is a Chartered Accountant and Master of Business Administration (MBA), as well as a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

He has over 32 years experience in the industry, and has worked for several different accountancy firms, from small independent practices to the ‘big four’ global names. Before joining Harris Lipman, he was an audit partner for over 20 years at a top 40 UK firm, as well as spending three months as a consultant to a major company in the Middle East, advising them on quality systems and technical matters.

He also has extensive experience advising clients in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution, healthcare, education, construction, property development, investment and maintenance, professional services, outdoor advertising, pension schemes and charities.

Kash will predominantly be working with Harris Lipman’s business and corporate clients, and will draw on his knowledge of specialist areas such as corporate finance, business and strategic planning, corporate recovery and business tax.

He said: “I’ve known Harris Lipman and senior partner Barry Lewis for over 20 years, and have worked with them on a number of joint projects for my previous firm.

“I’m delighted to have been offered the opportunity to join the team here – there are a lot of opportunities and also a lot of challenges ahead, and I’m very excited to be part of it.”
