Harris Lipman Continues to Strengthen Team

London-based chartered accountants and licensed insolvency practitioners Harris Lipman has further expanded its team as demand for its services continues to grow.

The new faces include Michael Bernstein, who joined the practice as a partner in August, accounts manager Anita Goburdhun, audit and accounts manager Nilesh Pabari, accounts senior Timothy Gunn and semi-senior accountant Payal Somani.

Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and has particular expertise in working with clients in the legal profession, entertainment and the property sector. After qualifying in 1976, he worked for Baker Rooke, which later became Baker Tilly, and Stoy Hayward, now BDO Stoy Hayward, and other accountancy practices in London’s West End

He set up his own practice in 1982 and went on to found another accountancy practice with partners in the mid-1980s, from which he joined Harris Lipman.

Anita, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), has 15 years of experience in general practice, carrying out audit, accountancy and tax work. In her new role, she will be managing Michael Bernstein’s portfolio and carrying out additional audit and accountancy assignments.

Nilesh is an FCCA and is also a member the Association of Accounting Technicians. He brings to his new role experience gained while worked with accountancy firms ranging from a sole practitioner to top 20 firm Baker Tilly.

Timothy has ten years of experience in audit, accounts preparation, company secretarial, payroll and personal and corporate tax and is studying for qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Payal is an ACCA member and brings experience including preparation of accounts and audit files, for clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, finalising annual accounts and producing corporation tax computations to the Harris Lipman team.
