Harris Lipman Welcomes Michael Bernstein

We are delighted to welcome Michael Bernstein, who joins us with effect from 1 August 2008, as a new partner.

Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and has particular expertise in working with clients in the legal profession, in entertainment and in the property sector.

After qualification in 1976, he worked for Baker Rooke, which subsequently became Baker Tilly, and Stoy Hayward, now BDO Stoy Hayward, and other accountancy practices in London’s West End.

In 1982, Michael set up his own practice - despite having just one client - with the backing of an understanding bank manager who recognised his entrepreneurial spirit. He went on to found another accountancy practice with partners in the mid-1980s, from which he joins Harris Lipman, bringing with him a substantial portfolio of clients.

Michael said: “I am delighted to be joining the Harris Lipman team and am very much looking forward to working with my new colleagues. I have always been proud to provide my clients with a forward-thinking, high quality service and the extra resources that Harris Lipman has to offer can only enhance this still further.”
